GPS Note:

If you are using any GPS or Map app, please search my our name and not the address. We have had a few issues lately where searching by the address is sending people to the same address in the next town over, even though Plainwell is listed. Just a tip, we are located right next to Sweetwater's Donut Mill in Plainwell, close to the Plainwell exit off of 131.

Rates:

  • Daycare is $35 per day, $25 per day for the second dog in the same household
  • We do offer daycare visit packages, 10 visits for $315 and for two dogs in the same household $540
  • Boarding is $55 per night, $45 per night for the second dog in the same household. Daycare is included in the boarding price however, there may be an additional daycare charge for the day you pickup depending on what time you pickup.

If you are picking up your boarding dog, Monday-Friday, the daycare charge that day, based on when you are picking up is as follows:

  • Pickup between 7am and 9am, there is no additional daycare charge.
  • Pickup between 9am and noon, there is a $15 daycare charge.
  • Pickup between noon and 6pm, there is a $35 daycare charge.

If you are picking up your boarding dog, Saturday or Sunday, there are two two (2) designated boarding pickup periods on the weekends: 7am to 9am and 1pm to 3pm. So please plan your pickup times within the designated pickup times. If those pickup times do not work for your travel plans that day, please plan on them staying another night. Exceptions will not be granted for any pick-ups outside of these time frames.

Drop off and pickup times:

Daycare hours are Monday- Friday from 7am to 6pm. Boarding is scheduled by appointment but we do require that all daycare and boarding dogs are dropped off between 7am- 9am so that they are on the same schedule as the dogs that are already here. It's much better for all the dogs that way.

In addition to a temperament test, any new boarding dog has to have at least five paid days of daycare before their first boarding reservation.

Facility medical requirements:

Vaccines:

All dogs must have a current fecal exam with negative results in addition to the following vaccinations: Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper. All dogs older 6 months or older must be fixed. If the Bordetella vaccine has lapsed or if it is your dog's first time getting this vaccination, there is a two week wait period before they can come into our facility for any reason. Every dog must also currently be licensed. A copy of the most recent vaccinations and fecal results can be emailed to this email address or uploaded directly to your profile in our registration system.

Health:

All dogs must be in good health. Owners will need to certify that their pet is free from any condition, which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Pets that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian certification of health before coming to Dee-tails.

All dogs must be at least 16 weeks old. We also recommend that if the dog was recently homed with you or adopted, there is at least a 30 day transition period.

Temperament test:

Once we have completed all of the above, we can schedule the FREE temperament test. The temperament test is the introduction to our pack, our staff, and our facility. We run one per day, Tuesday through Friday, drop off at 9 am and pickup at 11am. The temperament test is an opportunity for us to of course check for any signs of aggression but just as important, it allows us to see if the new dog is comfortable in our group environment. Not all dogs are comfortable in a cage-free environment and we never want to put any undue stress on to a dog so this test helps us evaluate that.

Attire:

All dogs must be on a leash coming and going from the facility.

Parking:

Facility parking is along our fence and back building. The middle spaces belong to the City building and employees.
